With all that's being going on this time of year...one of the most disturbing things to me is....laundry, that's right, laundry. You see I have a finely tuned laundry schedule at my house. Twice a week as soon as I get home from the station, I'm on laundry detail. I even work in my afternoon naps during the dryer cycle...the buzzer on the dryer serves as he alarm to wake me up.. My recliner is even strategically located within feet of the laundry room. Here's the problem: with the kids home from college, I'll come home, ready to go through my laundry protocol, only to find that they are hogging up the equipment, with huge mounds of laundry they've been storing up.. I swear my son rented out storage space to keep his dirty clothes at school, then transported it all home with a U haul when he graduated! And my daugher has some laundry items...I really don't care to see! This throws off my whole schedule, and the ripple effect throws everything else off.... cutting grass, cooking, cleaning , ironing, sewing, grocery shopping, meal planning,...Ok so I don't do all those things, but you get the idea. So if I'm ever off schedule or out of whack...... now you know why....LAUNDRY!!!!
