Cadillac-Jack Seville was born in 1965 and raised in the 1970's. That makes him a greatest hit of BOTH the sixities AND the seventies. When Jack was a teenager, he enrolled in a course taught by a local radio broadcaster named Rob Winters and began to excel. This was a great beginning, as the environment was an actual broadcast facility on the air at 88.5 -FM. This class and the experience allowed Jack to land a job on KIT-AM, the local heritage radio station in his hometown of Yakima, Washington.
Anyway...long story short: Jack was hungry for city life, and went from town to town up and down the dial looking for bigger and better radio stations. After stops in California (Santa Rosa, Sacramento, San Bernardino, Los Angeles), Orlando, and Washington DC, Jack, and the family he gained along the way, made their way to Philadelphia in 1991. As Cadillac-Jack, he worked as the afternoon DJ for about 2 years at WEGX (Eagle-106) and then briefly at WIOQ. Jack decided that he wanted to try his hand at doing a morning show, and in 1993 moved out to Riverside, California. Jack was missing his two daughters who were still back in the Philly area. Jack took a job in Lancaster, to be closer to his kids, where he hosted a morning show at WLAN-FM for 6 1/2 years, and then at WIOV for a year and a half. After being in the GREAT Lancaster county for 9 years, Jack accepted a job hosting the afternoon show at WGGY/Scranton, where Jack achieved a record high in the ratings battle. But, alas, 2 and a half hours away from the kids is just too far, so Jack decided to pack everything up, and move back to the Mainline to be closer to the family, AND...work for 98.1 WOGL.
